For the first time last year, I joined the co-ed softball team at church. I had a wonderful time and enjoyed myself more than I thought I would. To put the icing on the cake, we came in first place & were the tournament champions.
Now...it's time to start again, and I'm really looking forward to it. Our first practice is today at 2:00 p.m. We're planning on practicing for 2 hours, but I'll have to leave early because Lauren's 3rd birthday party is at 5:00 p.m. (and I wouldn't miss that for the world!).
If you're in the area & ever bored on a Monday night, we play at the Oregon Rec (located on Seaman Rd. behind the City Building) starting in May.
