I was able to talk to dad today which made it a little better. It was nice just to hear his voice! The doctor now feels it would be in his best interest to keep him for another 3 or 4 days in order to make sure his blood levels are where they need to be. They also did a scan to look for any additional blood clots. I'm thankful that they are being proactive and cautious, but I also know dad would really like to get out of the hospital and back home.
